The ANZAC Memorial is located at the southern end of Hyde Park, close to Museum Railway Station on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Liverpool Streets.

It is the principal State War Memorial and was built to perpetuate the memory of men and women of New South Wales who served in the Great War of 1914-1918. In November of 1984, on the 50th Anniversary it was rededicated to all Australians who serve their country in time of war.The ANZAC Memorial is a classic example of Art Deco style of architecture and contains fine sculptures. There is also an Exhibition Area that displays memorabilia and artefacts from all areas of conflict that Australia participated in.

The ANZAC Memorial is open between 9am and 5pm every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day, guided tours can be booked and a daily Act of Remembrance is conducted at 11am. No entry fee is charged.
